As the Lunar New Year approaches, the Jockey Club 'Green' Octagon Recycling and Eco-Tourism Education Project, organized by Bridges, invites you to the restricted area of Sha Tau Kok to participate in the first 'Green' New Year Carnival with the theme of Hakka cultural conservation, and to practice the concept of 'Play Naturally, Leave No Trace on Earth' green tourism together.
The event highlights are exciting and brilliant. Bridges has carefully prepared a series of special booths that combine local culture and environmental protection, as well as unique upcycling workshops. Participants can turn items into creative works of art and take them home. Participants can also taste authentic Hakka cuisine at the carnival, dress up in Hakka costumes for street photography, and enjoy the live performances of rural music, immersing themselves in a relaxed festive atmosphere.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to obtain limited free speedboat tickets and guided tours to the nearly 300-year-old Lai Chi Wo Hakka Ancient Village and the 'Lai Wo, Here!' market, as well as to dialogue with Ms. Zheng Minhua, author of the new book 'Lai Chi Wo Zhi', at the century-old 'Wanshengtang' store.
Whether you are looking for family fun, cultural exploration, or a low-carbon lifestyle, you are welcome to come to Sha Tau Kok for the 'Green' New Year Carnival and experience the beauty of sustainable living during the traditional festival!
